Step 1:
Looking to make your ideas come to life? Collaborate with our expert jeweler, Irene, and discuss your jewelry design ideas. During your consultation, we work closely with you to make sure your vision is understood while also pushing the design further to create something even more than you could have imagined. Simply make an appointment or swing by our store to bounce ideas off our jeweler or experienced sales professionals. By the end of each consultation all aspects of design, use of personal gemstones or the need of gemstones provided, as well at total project estimate, will be discussed
Step 2:
Once the final design is imagined, there are a few different ways Irene, our jeweler, can physically create your piece. The most popular and precise way to create your new piece of jewelry is to use our CAD (computer aided design) program. Using this method, we create a 3D rendering of your piece that will be used as the file to create the 3D printed wax. This allows our jeweler to be very exact and precise with the placement of gemstones, accents, and overall design. If a more hand designed and created piece is what you desire, our jeweler is talented in the art of hand waxing as well as fabrication.
Step 3:
When your CAD rendering is complete, the realistic looking 3D images will be emailed to you for design approval. We can proceed with the design as-is in the event that it’s exactly as you envisioned; or feedback can be provided if there are any changes you’d like to see made. Upon final approval of your renderings, the CAD is sent offsite to be 3D printed and cast.
Step 4:
Once the casting of your jewelry arrives to the store, Irene carefully cleans it up, sets the stones and hand finishes your piece. Behind the scenes while this is taking place, we evaluate the gemstones for insurance: color and clarity grading, exact measurements, weight, etc. After final polishing and evaluation, pictures are taken of the final product, both for our records and to show future clients the extensive possibilities of a custom created piece.
Step 5:
The day you have been waiting for has finally arrived. Each custom creation comes with necessary paperwork for insurance as well as instructions to best care for your new custom jewel. It has been our pleasure to create a piece that you will wear and love. To our jeweler, pick up day is the most exciting; it is where she has seen tears of joy, gasps, smiles, and even proposals.
